These are important days in the school calendar, attendance is compulsory.

Sports

Besides the Academic activities, there are some other activities for all round Development of student's personality which we follow in our school.

Mental Development : "YOGA" for developing the concentration and Improving the mental capacity all the students are attending meditation classes which help to give better result in their respective Field.

Physical Development : To prepare strong and Enegetic student for out society. We are giving Physical Training through Physical exercises.

Skill Development : We include games and sports period with the Academic in our Time-Table.

Social Development : Different sports (Competitions) are organised and students participate actively in those competitions.

Excalibur

Our school is divided into four houses I. e. Sharda House, Vivekanand House, Tagore House and Shivaji House. Our House activities are conducted in third Saturday of every month .

Wall magzine competetion, solo dance, group dance, solo song, group song has been conducted.

This year also school organized science exhibition In various streams like physics, chemistry, biology, social - science and SUPW. Many projects and working models were presented by IX , X , XI & XII class Students. All visitors appreciated it .

Prizes were given for the out standing performance models and charts have been displayed in science room .

NCC Navy and Air Wing

Our school has all the three wing students participating And won many prizes. Activities like parade, shooting, quiz, debate, etc. They Have attended various camps held by NCC, NAVY AND AIR WING.

Counseling and Guidance

The pressures of learning, living and achieving have enhanced the role played by proper counseling and guidance for the learner. Conscious and aware of the pivotal role played by counseling KVM gives special significance to this area. School counselors provides services for students through comprehensive prevention and intervention programs. Early exposure to comprehensive school counseling program builds an emotionally healthy foundation for children and results in improved academic achievement. We at DPS use counseling services to effectively bridge the academic and affective domain in our students lives through following activities.

Individual counseling of students and parents in school, personal and academic problems

Referral and coordination of students who need professional help.

Together we counselors, teachers, parents and policy makers create a powerful force in the fight to enhance the lives of our young people. Through these collaborative efforts, children will achieve their maximum potential.

RKVM is not just a school, but a training ground for life. The child learns the foremost values of love, trust and truth etc. from parents and later realizes the values of courage, ambition and discrimination from the larger society, at school.
